Criteria for
receiving the scholarship include financial need, and the
student must have a family connection to a St. Joe Prep alumnus.
Financial aid forms are sent to the Archdiocese, where
the amount of eligible financial aid is determined.
Administrators at Bethlehem High School do not determine
the family’s need for financial aid.
Once the initial
scholarships have been awarded, the recipients will continue
to receive the scholarships until they graduate.
Should a student leave Bethlehem before graduation,
his or her scholarship would be awarded to a student in the
same academic year.
The St. Joe
Prep Alumni Association is making a $2000 annual commitment
to help ensure the continuation of Catholic education.
