A series of Advance Commitment meetings began this week and will continue through February 12. In addition, we wanted to give you a brief update on the progress of the campaign Information Fellowship Meetings.

During the month of January, over 220 parish families attended six Information and Fellowship Meetings held in the St. Joseph School cafeteria. The purpose of these meetings was to inform our parishioners and our school families about the wonderful new plans for the expansion of our parish school and for a parish fellowship hall. Kenny Kute and Millie Riggs led the meetings while Fr. Bill and our Campaign co-chairs, Jodie Haydon, Stephen Hamilton, Bill Conway, and Tink Guthrie, were on hand to share their vision for this project. Attendees shared their parish and school experiences and were able to ask many questions about the Campaign plans. All have left the meetings feeling better informed and excited about the plans for the parish.

On Sunday, February 17, we will offer two more Information and Fellowship Meetings. These will be scheduled after the 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses. The first meeting will begin at 10:15 and end at 11:25; the second meeting will begin at 12:45 and end at 2:00. Donuts and coffee will be served at the early meeting, sandwiches and beverages at the later meeting. Childcare will also be available at both times.

Some of you have already made reservations for these meetings. If so, you will receive a phone call to remind you of the time. For others, if you are interested, we urge you to please call the parish office to make a reservation so that we can have adequate materials and refreshments on hand. As has been previously explained, these meetings are for information purposes only.

These meetings are a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the A Time to Build Capital Campaign and to prepare you for Commitment Weekend on March 8 and 9. Please make every effort to attend with us.

The number for the parish office is 348-3126.
