Handy Hands 2012

On October 6, St. Joseph Church W.O.W. Group set out to make a difference in their community, and that they did.  Some 30 teens, 20 adults and 5 college students put in a full day’s work transforming yards and cleaning homes for their elderly and homebound neighbors.    Their theme was a quote by Helen Keller: “There is no better way to thank God for your sight than by giving a helping Hand to someone in the dark”.  They were able to help at 11 homes and the hearts of each will be touched forever.  We are grateful for the many adult volunteers and businesses who donated time, food, and supplies.
