Loving God, we ask your blessing upon these dresses and

especially upon the children who will wear them.   Keep them safe and healthy.  Bless all who care for them.

And bless those who shared their time and talent to create these Love Dresses and shorts.

We ask these blessings in Jesus’ Name.   Amen

Dolls for the pockets of the smallest dresses

Dresses and Shorts were hung in church and blessed before they began their

journey to the boys and girls in Haiti

On behalf of the boys and girls in our sister parishes in Haiti,  we want to thank everyone for sharing your time, talent and resources to create 91 pair of shorts for little boys and 279 “Love Dresses” for little girls.   There is a little doll or a bracelet for each child plus a few extras for birthday treats and other special occasions.  Thanks also to all who made monetary donations to help defray the cost of materials or who used your own fabric to sew.   There were also some soccer balls in the suitcase for St. Francis Xavier in Akul Samdi, thanks to two generous parishioners.   And needless to say,  without the donations of your suitcases and the kindness of Joe Z none of our sewing, rosaries, dolls, bracelets or soccer balls would get to Haiti. . . .so thank you and

may God smile on you!
