Deacon Walsh welcomes the family to the celebration of Baptism.

“I claim you for Jesus Christ with the sign of his Cross.”

Water is blessed for Baptism.

I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Deacon Walsh anoints newly baptized child with Sacred Chrism.

After anointing with Sacred Chrism child is clothed in her white garment as a sign that she is a new creation and has put on Christ.

Receive the Light of Christ!
