Baptism Celebration

Father Bill welcomes the assembly to the celebration of Mass and Baptism.

Claimed for Christ by the sign of his cross by Father Bill, parents and godparents.

“I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Sacred Chrism is used for anointing at Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Orders.

After being anointed with Sacred Chrism the child is clothed in a white garment as a sign that she has put on Christ and is a new creation.
