- Born to Marilyn (Dahl) and John Schwartzlose in
Louisville, Kentucky. He has one wonderful sister, Beth who is two years
younger.
- Grew up in the Camp Taylor neighborhood in Louisville
and attended Holy Family Catholic School for eight years. He then
attended Male High School in Louisville at Brook and Breckinridge Streets.
- Earned a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the
University of Louisville in 1995.
- Entered the seminary in the fall of 1995 and while
there received a Master of Arts Degree (1997) and a Master of Divinity Degree
(2000).
- Ordained in a class of six Louisvillians on June 3,
2000 at the Cathedral of the Assumption by Archbishop Thomas C. Kelly, OP.
- Served as an Associate Pastor at St. Augustine in
Lebanon and St. Aloysius in Pewee Valley, Kentucky. St. Gregory Parish
is his first assignment as Pastor.
- Interests include the study of WWII history, fishing,
golf, and traveling.
