Text Box: Xploration Earth Xploration Earth went fairly smooth; however, it did not bring in the kind of money that we had hoped for. We raised about $110, which means that we have to work extra hard on upcoming fundraisers Mr. NCHS Congratulations to Benjamin Gowen, who was rewarded with the Crowd Appeal Award! Way to go Benjamin!! Adopt-A-Highway Spring Scrub The Spring Scrub has been rescheduled to a later date. It will now be held on June 7th. We’ll meet at 9:00 and be done at noon. Hope to see you there! Text Box: Old Business Text Box: New Business Text Box: Fundraisers Kroger Cards: NONE have been sold so far. This is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year; don’t forget that the money made will contribute to next year’s funds. They are $5 each. When you sell them, write the buyer’s name down and bring the list to Dr. Filkins’ room, where you will receive the cards to hand out. Cookie Dough: A fundraiser to sell cookie dough has been set for August 15th. Bingo: Two Bingo nights have been scheduled during the summer on June 1st and August 3rd from 5:30 to 9:30. We’ll make approx $500 each night! We will need eight people to work each night. You can earn extra points, if your family/friends come, so tell every one you know! Summer Points/Hours PLEASE, take home points/hours sheets for over the summer. You will need to document your summer service or leadership activities.
