Jim and Jackie Summers

Jackie Meece Summers - Co-Pastor 

Jackie was born and raised in Florida.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education (K-12) from Transylvania University, a Master of Arts degree in Vocal performance from Indiana State University upon graduation she sang opera for two years with the National Opera Co. out of Raleigh, NC.  Jackie then completed her  Master of Divinity degree at Lexington Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Christian Church (DoC) in June 1991.  Jackie has served churches in Lexington, KY, West Des Moines, IA, Mount Carmel, IL and Bardstown, KY. 

Jim Summers - Co-Pastor

Jim was raised in southern Illinois.  He has an Associate of Arts degree from Rend Lake College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Christian University and Master of Divinity degree from Brite Divinity School.  He was ordained in the Christian Church (DoC) on September 9, 1990.  Jim has worked at the  Juliette Fowler Youth Home and served churches in Dallas, TX, Woodward, IA, Mount Carmel, IL and Bardstown, KY. 

Jim and Jackie were married in 1993 and started working together as co-pastors in 1997.  They have two adult children Clayton, who is married to Alix, and Kathryn.
