Wife, Saundra, is a homemaker and helpmeet in the total ministry. Brother Joe and Saundra have three children: Alesha Joe (d.o.b. 5-15-73); Paul (d.o.b. 12-28-74); Andrea (d.o.b. 11-1-79).

Pleasure Ridge Park High School, Louisville, Kentucky.

1965-66 Machinist Apprentice,
L&N Railroad, Louisville, Kentucky. Worked as machinist.

1966-70 U.S. Air Force - Trained in radar.
Served 1969-70 in South Viet Nam.

1976 Graduate of Western Kentucky University.
Majored in Accounting and Business Management.

1976-78 Masters work in Child Development and Family Living (Counseling)
Western Kentucky University Graduate School.

1984 Honorary Doctorate of Divinity,
Faith Evangelistic College, Morgantown, Kentucky.

Ministry Experience: January 1983 to Present
Serves as Home Missionary and Chaplain to Kentucky State Government and travels to Washington D.C. each month to work in the national Capitol with our congressmen. Conducts God and Country Services and works with those serving in government at all levels and helps churches understand their government. Brother Joe and Saundra conduct family and home seminars.

August 1980 to December 1982
Pastor, LaRue County Baptist Church, Hodgenville, Kentucky where a great percent of evangelism took place and a Christian school was established.

December 1978 to August 1980
Pastor of Faith Baptist Church Franklin, Kentucky. Church was started on December 4, 1978 and a new church building purchased within the first four months during which time the high attendance was 180. Ministry established and ground work for a Christian school was laid. Had a regular radio program.

September 1973 to December 1978
Pastor of Fairview Baptist Mission (a mission of First Baptist Church) Franklin, Kentucky. Went from three old houses to a complete new church complex in three years. Averaged 100 baptisms a year for the first five and one-half years and debt was reduced to half of cost of building. Had five busses and radio ministry.

September 1970 to August 1973
Served as Youth Minister for Victory Baptist Church, Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Served on Bardstown Public Housing Tenant Relations Committee (Nelson County)

Work with various community officials through the God and Country programs throughout the state of Kentucky and many other states.

Presently serving on the Non-Public School Commission, Department of Education.

Member, Bardstown/Nelson County Chamber of Commerce.

Presently serves as chairman of Christian Home Educators of Kentucky (CHEK). Has continually served as chairman since 1991 to present.
