Bro. Ryan Lyons
Senior Pastor 

Our goal here at Bloomfield Baptist Church is to make disciples who are fully satisfied in and truly passionate about Jesus Christ.  We want to exalt Jesus by teaching the Bible in a clear and practical way and, by the grace offered through faith in Jesus, live out the Christian faith in everyday life.  So come and join us in the journey of following Jesus and “taste and see that the Lord is good!” (Psalm 34:8).

Ryan Lyons is originally from Warner Robins, Georgia.  He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Currently, Ryan is pursuing a PhD from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Ryan is married to his high school sweetheart, Lori, who is soon to complete the Nurse Practitioner program at Spalding University.  Ryan and Lori have one child, Michael.

Associate Pastor for Worship and Administration

"Praise God in his sanctuary!" and "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!"  These challenges to worship found in Psalm 150 are seen as a cornerstone of the worship at Bloomfield Baptist Church.  It is our desire that each and every worship service be a life-changing encounter with our awesome God!  A favorite worship statement of ours is: 
"If worship does not change us, it has not been worship!"

 In worshiping our Lord and Savior, a wide variety of musical styles are incorporated into a blended setting.  Hymns, gospel songs, praise and worship selections, and the latest contemporary Christian arrangement can be expected at most of the worship times at Bloomfield Baptist Church.  In addition, many creative elements are often used in worship through drama, interpretive movement, movie and video clips, and Power Point presentations.  The goal of worship at Bloomfield Baptist Church is to present the changeless gospel and saving power of Jesus Christ to a world that is ever changing.

Bro. Terry Harbison

 
Interim Youth and Missions

Terry Harbison is originally from Alabama.  He is a graduate of the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky.  He has a B.S. in English as well as a B.S. in Religion.  He is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.  Terry has been actively involved in missions and other ministries in the U.S. as well as other countries for over 15 years.
 His wife, Cerri, is a graduate of Campbellsville University.  She has a B.S. in History/Political Science.  They have been married for just over 3 years.  They are currently seeking appointment as career
missionaries with the International Mission Board.

 Our responsibility as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is to proclaim His Gospel throughout the ends of the Earth.  Our church, as well as many other churches, has accepted the Acts 1:8 challenge to share the Gospel in our own Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the Earth.  We incorporate a variety of service evangelism projects, visitation ministries, and mission trips in this country and others to accomplish this goal.  Our goal here at Bloomfield Baptist Church is to make certain that our members realize that
“missions is a lifestyle and not a location”.
